HALLOWEEN 2010!

We was so excited this halloween to take merrick trick or treating but the wind and rain made it

hard. but he loaded up on candy just by going to

family. merrick was a dragon i loved his little costume lol. i tired to get good pictures but he doesnt like to pose for them and he was kinda onery that day lol. we carved pumpkins and merrick was so excited but as soon as he seen what was in the pumpkin he started gagging and saying "ew dross" his G's are D's lol. he wasnt so excited after that. then me and johnny shared a pumpkin and johnny broke out the power tools, i

couldnt believe he did that but it was alot easier than just a little knife. over all we had good halloween and next year we will have 2 little one to take around. P.S. im 37 weeks and if i dont have the baby by the 18th im

getting induced!!!! its so close i cant wait!!!!

Emery Miners Win Mine Rescue Contest

CONSOL Energy Inc.’s Emery Mine-Black team, from Emery, claimed first place honors in the CONSOL Energy “Best of the Best” Mine Rescue Contest held Sept. 16-18 in Virginia, capping the 2008 contest season. The Emery-Blue team claimed third place overall in the Virginia contest.

A total of 18 teams from throughout CONSOL Energy and its subsidiaries from five states, including those based in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Utah, competed in the event held at the CONSOL Energy Mine Rescue Training Center at Oakwood, Va. CONSOL Energy has more mine rescue teams than any other company in the industry.

Members of the Emery-Black mine rescue team are Ron Wright, Brandon Wilde, Matt Crosland, Johnny Donan, “For all your efforts, all your sacrifice to serve on a CONSOL rescue team and to participate in mine rescue, thank you,” Hyita said. “It takes time away from your families and the whole industry appreciates your service. You are the most highly trained people we have in the company.”Corey Prettyman, Kasey Thompson and Jim Kulow, trainer.

Our Trip to Durango

This last week made a little trip to Durango to see family that we haven't seen in awhile and to introduce our newest addition to his grandparents, great grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. we were there for 5 days and we got to spend time with everybody which was alot of fun, johnny's dad played the guitar and sang for us and i was going to record it and my camera was dead but eventually i will get a recording of it, Merrick loved it! It was nice to visit and see everybody, johnnys brother lives in new mexico so we made a trip there to see him and the family. Merrick hated being in his car seat all of the time but overall i feel that it was a trip worth while. we will have to go there more often.
