NEW STUFF!!!

i have been so excited lately because i finally got a dish washer!!!! not only a dishwasher but a new couch too!!! its so comfy! i took pictures of both i couldnt get a good one of the couch but you will get the idea of what it looks like. i was shopping with my mom and tris when i found it and i called johnny and said babe i found us a new couch so you need to sell ours and he did that day!!! i love it. the only thing i dont love about it is the new furniture smell makes my morning sickness kick right in, so its hard for me to be on the house too much. i have been febreezing it like crazy and now the febreeze i use makes me sick, i cant wait till i feel normal again :) so im so happy to have these new items but im pretty sure the reason i got them so easy is because johnny also got a new toy fo

r himself.....yes he got a Harley! he rides that thing everyday and once in awhile i do ride with him, needless to say you wont see me in full leather with a doo rag on my head lol. i look retarded on it but he like to take me with him so that makes me happy, merrick loves to sit on it with johnny and johnny will rev it up and merrick gets all excited, its so cute. we are going to moab for the car show and johnny is going to ride the bike down and i offered to drive the car and follow, i love the rides but its not that comfy lol :)

Emery Miners Win Mine Rescue Contest

CONSOL Energy Inc.’s Emery Mine-Black team, from Emery, claimed first place honors in the CONSOL Energy “Best of the Best” Mine Rescue Contest held Sept. 16-18 in Virginia, capping the 2008 contest season. The Emery-Blue team claimed third place overall in the Virginia contest.

A total of 18 teams from throughout CONSOL Energy and its subsidiaries from five states, including those based in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Utah, competed in the event held at the CONSOL Energy Mine Rescue Training Center at Oakwood, Va. CONSOL Energy has more mine rescue teams than any other company in the industry.

Members of the Emery-Black mine rescue team are Ron Wright, Brandon Wilde, Matt Crosland, Johnny Donan, “For all your efforts, all your sacrifice to serve on a CONSOL rescue team and to participate in mine rescue, thank you,” Hyita said. “It takes time away from your families and the whole industry appreciates your service. You are the most highly trained people we have in the company.”Corey Prettyman, Kasey Thompson and Jim Kulow, trainer.

Our Trip to Durango

This last week made a little trip to Durango to see family that we haven't seen in awhile and to introduce our newest addition to his grandparents, great grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. we were there for 5 days and we got to spend time with everybody which was alot of fun, johnny's dad played the guitar and sang for us and i was going to record it and my camera was dead but eventually i will get a recording of it, Merrick loved it! It was nice to visit and see everybody, johnnys brother lives in new mexico so we made a trip there to see him and the family. Merrick hated being in his car seat all of the time but overall i feel that it was a trip worth while. we will have to go there more often.
