picture overload

so i decided i need to post some pictures they are just random things i want to share. i will kinda tell you about why i took the picture or what was going on. so mer

rick loves suckers but idont give them to him very often because he makes the biggest mess but my aunt gave him probably the messiest suckers ever for his birthday so i decided to let him have some of one because they are big i didnt think he would need a whole one, but he was a mess in like 2 seconds and he was so proud of it so i had to take some pictures and of course he gives me his CHEESE!!! grin.i love it

Merrick loves to escape from me when he gets out of the bath tub because hes "free" so one night after his bath he was running fromme with his towel still on his head and it made me laugh he walked all over the house with it on so i had to take a picture.

so my little monkey loves to crawl on the couch and run around and what not but he likes to sit up there and watch movies and he always lounges back and crosses his feet so i got a picture of that and then johnnys mom gave him some batman jammies so i dressed

him in them one night and had to take a picture and then he fell asleep on the couch and had a nap. he had never done that before so of course i think its the cutest thing ever. his jammies look a little small but they arent he was just laying weird.
and last but not least merrick got a little girraffe baby pool for his birthday and we finally had nice weather to put it up so today we did that and played in the water it was so much fun to do something as a family adn merrick had a blast but it wore him out for sure. but of course i took

pictures, and he got to wear his cute little swim shorts!

today was alot of fun for us and merrick but he still managed to throw a fit in there and we have ahd to start doing time out, and suprisingly he stays there till we get him but he stands there and screams at us then stops until we look at him and then he starts the fit again and then he takes a nap afterward, i guess it takes alot of energy to throw those fits. so theres my picture overload!

Emery Miners Win Mine Rescue Contest

CONSOL Energy Inc.’s Emery Mine-Black team, from Emery, claimed first place honors in the CONSOL Energy “Best of the Best” Mine Rescue Contest held Sept. 16-18 in Virginia, capping the 2008 contest season. The Emery-Blue team claimed third place overall in the Virginia contest.

A total of 18 teams from throughout CONSOL Energy and its subsidiaries from five states, including those based in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Utah, competed in the event held at the CONSOL Energy Mine Rescue Training Center at Oakwood, Va. CONSOL Energy has more mine rescue teams than any other company in the industry.

Members of the Emery-Black mine rescue team are Ron Wright, Brandon Wilde, Matt Crosland, Johnny Donan, “For all your efforts, all your sacrifice to serve on a CONSOL rescue team and to participate in mine rescue, thank you,” Hyita said. “It takes time away from your families and the whole industry appreciates your service. You are the most highly trained people we have in the company.”Corey Prettyman, Kasey Thompson and Jim Kulow, trainer.

Our Trip to Durango

This last week made a little trip to Durango to see family that we haven't seen in awhile and to introduce our newest addition to his grandparents, great grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. we were there for 5 days and we got to spend time with everybody which was alot of fun, johnny's dad played the guitar and sang for us and i was going to record it and my camera was dead but eventually i will get a recording of it, Merrick loved it! It was nice to visit and see everybody, johnnys brother lives in new mexico so we made a trip there to see him and the family. Merrick hated being in his car seat all of the time but overall i feel that it was a trip worth while. we will have to go there more often.
